Our Story

It was always Anthony’s dream to own his own BBQ business. The road was long and winding, but that goal has finally been realized.

Anthony loves BBQ. Before he even owned a grill, he would go around to the park every weekend and use a community grill to cook. Eventually he got himself a small grill and began cooking for anyone that would show up. Soon, the entire neighborhood would stop by and the additional demand for his BBQ forced him to get a full smoker. Word spread around the city and calls for custom dishes began flooding in.

Anthony soon realized that even a personal smoker wouldn’t be able to handle the kind of requests he was getting. That’s when he realized that he had enough attention to finally open his own business. Thus, Steel Smokin BBQ was born. He did some research, found the best smoker, and drove all the way to Atlanta and back.

Since then, Steel Smokin BBQ, LLC has catered for weddings, graduations, movie sets, and more. In addition, Steel Smokin BBQ, LLC has also been invited to provide BBQ around the state including the Wham Bam Thank U Jam in College Corner, OH, Fundraisers, and have volunteered to provide food and supplies to tornado victims. Once a member of the United States Air Force, Anthony especially loves serving for the men and women of all branches of the U.S. armed forces.
